Tell us a little about your background. When did you start creating content? What got you to start?
I’m a full-time psychotherapist and also a full-time animal lover. I started creating content after I found a kitten in the engine of my car and decided to rescue him. As a first-time cat owner, I thought creating content would be a great way to document my journey and life with my cat.
Do you see creating content as your full-time job or more of a hobby that you do in your free time?
I currently see creating content as a very fun hobby. In the future, I would love to be able to balance being a psychotherapist, opening up my own practice, and continuing to create content.
What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced or you are facing as a creator/influencer?
One of the biggest challenges I have faced as a creator and “cat momager” is being patient while my audience grows. I have learned to focus on the content I am creating, instead of just focusing on the “numbers”. I also learned that being turned down is a normal part of being a content creator, in order to succeed and gain awesome partnerships, you will be turned down at times and that is okay.

What are some tips for creators who are just getting started?
A tip I give to creators who are just getting started is to JUST START POSTING. Don’t worry about being “perfect”, you will learn important lessons along the way. Also, spend time studying trends, engage with your followers, and have fun!
Do you have any specific goals set for yourself for the coming months?
My biggest goal right now is to stay consistent. On Instagram, I am aiming to post 4-5 reels and 5 in-feed photos a week.
How do you balance your personal and work life?
I take advantage of my free time, particularly my weekends. Sometimes I will shoot a week's worth of content in just a few hours.
How did you “learn” the ways of content creation? Are there any resources you see as absolutely necessary?
I would say I am still “learning” the ways of content creation. I spend time studying trends and learning from influencers that inspire me.
What kind of advice do you have for creators who are not seeing any progress or success?
It can be really frustrating when we don’t see progress or success. I encourage creators to spend time learning from influencers that have inspired them. I have also seen success from studying social media trends and using HASHTAGS!

What have you found to be the biggest challenge in working with brands?
My biggest challenge in working with brands has been the anxiety I get when I am submitting work. I put my heart in my work, but I sometimes doubt myself. It is something I am working on.
What brands have you worked with in the past? What are some that you would like to work with?
We have worked with many great brands like Pretty Litter, Smalls for Cats, Kitty Poo Club, and Crown & Paw. It would be a dream to work with Petco!
In the end, can you give a short summary of some inspiration you get from your content creator journey or something you want to say to other content creators out there?
To all the new content creators, I am so happy you started your journey. Being a successful content creator will be tough. There will be moments when you question yourself and your work. There will be moments when the door is shut in your face or maybe moments where you feel like you could have done something better. However, it is important to persevere, particularly during these times. By being a content creator, you are daring greatly, and that is beautiful. I will leave you with a quote that has inspired me and continues to inspire me, “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.
